Faith & Football Event at Wembley Stadium

CCC had the pleasure of attending the Faith and Football Event at Wembley Stadium, hosted by The Football Association. 

Professional footballers, including Omar Beckles and Joel Ward, highlighted how their Christian faith significantly influences their on-pitch performances and personal lives.

The evening also featured a pitch-side carol service and dinner, bringing the football community together in a unique way. 

Increasing numbers of professional footballers are declaring their faith and club chaplains play a pivotal role in supporting players throughout their careers.

CCC’s Christian faith is central to our approach and shapes our services, enabling players to grow in performance and long-term wellbeing.
